Does the Wakatipu have a more important amenity than its High School?
Wakatipu High School in conjunction with the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce would like to invite members to a B after 5 at the High School to open its latest addition to their facilities, a state of the art music and drama block.
With two acoustically rated theatres, practice rooms and extensive gathering spaces, this brand new block offers not only a world class learning environment for the students but exceptional facilities for the community to utilize and enjoy.
The time has come for the school and business community to meaningfully engage in a dialogue on how partnerships can develop for mutual benefit. The High School want the school to be a reason for highly skilled and qualified people to come to the area and for our current residents to feel confident their educational requirements for their children are well catered for.
Come and hear how both facilities and performance are evolving; what's been recently achieved and what's on the agenda for the future. With some of our exceptionally talented students providing entertainment, this will be a great opportunity to cast an eye to the future while exploring opportunities for the present.
