Jan Hunt
Jan joins the chamber bringing with her 20 years of tourism knowledge at a senior level. Most recently Jan was the General Manager of Millbrook resort and prior to that spent 7 years in Auckland as General Manager Sky Tower, Conventions and Hotels. Jan is a local Queenstowner.
Jan has previously chaired Destination Queenstown, the Auckland branch of the Major Accommodation Providers (now the Hotel Council) as well as being a judge for the New Zealand Tourism Awards. She is on the International Advisory Board of the Pacific International Hotel management school as well as the local Queenstown Resort College advisory board.
Jan is a registered comprehensive nurse and studied psychology at Otago University. Jan is a local and is actively involved with Wakatipu Pony Club.
