The Westpac Queenstown Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards

Date for the 2010 Awards Gala Dinner is the 29th October.

Hosted by the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce, the Westpac Queenstown Business Excellence Awards raise the bar across all aspects of business, encouraging business excellence and celebrating regional achievements in the business arena.

Focusing on management strategy, business improvement and achieving success, the Awards provide businesses with an opportunity to learn, improve and benchmark their performance against top performers across various industries.

The objectives of the Business Excellence Awards are to encourage business excellence and to celebrate regional achievements in the business arena. Numerous past winners and participants state they have benefited from the self-evaluation of the entry process, the considerable publicity and from the possibility of winning prizes.

Award Categories
The winner of each category also has the opportunity to compete for the overall Business of the Year Award. The 2010 award categories for the Westpac Queenstown Business Excellence Awards are as follows:

• Small Business: 1 - 10 employees
• Medium Business: 10 - 50 employees
• Large Business: 50 + employees
• Sustainable Business
• Young Entreperneur

Conditions of Entry
The winners from each category and overall winner will all be announced at the Westpac Queenstown Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on October 29th

All entries will be acknowledged by the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce. The judges may contact your business to clarify any details on your entry or to gain additional information.

By submitting an entry the entrant authorises the Chief Executive of the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce to provide a copy of this application and all supporting documents to the judging panel. The Chamber may record in a database for internal use the entrant’s business name, address details, contact person and category entered.

All entries will be destroyed unless entrants arrange for collection.

Confidentiality Guarantee
Queenstown Chamber of Commerce guarantees that the information in the entries submitted will be treated with strict confidentiality, and will be viewed by no one other than the judging panel and the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer, all of whom are bound by this guarantee. Any further information given to the judges during the judging process remains private and confidential.
