Regional Partners Network Programme (RPN)
The Regional Partner Network (RPN) is a joint initiative between Queenstown District Council, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, The Ministry of Science & Innovation & Otago Forward. This scheme aims to boost capability in small to medium sized businesses in Queenstown. It provides a broad range of advice to business owners as well as subsidising business training by 50%.
You are eligible for this scheme if you:
- Have less than 50 full time employees
- Are registered for GST in New Zealand
- Are operating in a commercial environment: i.e. are currently trading or are a privately owned or a Maori Trust or incorporation under the Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
A number of local businesses have already accessed this new training scheme and have found the assessment process both straight forward and useful. RPN issues vouchers to qualifying businesses and eligible businesses may use the vouchers to receive a subsidy for appropriate training workshops, courses and/or coaching.
