Have your say now.

We want to know how you are feeling about your business and its future.  This information is critical in communicating with Government what is happening on the ground in our district.

We know it's tough, beyond tough really, for many in our district and we are working hard on your behalf to communicate the business realities and the desperate need for support for those most affected.

Just this morning Hospitality NZ released the results of their member survey where over half of the accommodation and F&B businesses that responded don't believe they will survive another 3 months.  You can read their survey results here and media release here

We understand the Government is close to deciding on whether to extend more support to affected businesses.  Having your feedback helps us to keep the pressure on for a positive decision.

Along with QLDC, Ignite Wanaka, The Lakes Weekly and jobfix.co.nz, we are encouraging local businesses to participate in the first quarterly Business Confidence Survey for 2022.

Last year’s surveys helped us advocate for and support the Southern Lakes businesses.  The information is also being used in developing regional workforce plans and local responses to the critical worker shortage.

The more data collected enables trends to be tracked and eventually we will be able to make decisions on what is to come based on the data collected over time.

Please take the survey today as your input is vital and the more companies that take the survey the more robust the data will be.

The survey is short just 2-3 minutes to complete, and the results will be released once it's analysed. We encourage one response per business and suggest business owners or senior managers complete the survey on behalf of the business.

We know your time is valuable and in recognition of this, on completing this survey you can enter the draw to win a $500 Mediaworks voucher and a bottle of Peregrine wine.

The survey is open from Monday February 14th for all businesses in the Southern Lakes region and closes at 5pm on Wednesday 23rd February.

Complete the Business Confidence Survey Q1.

We know you have been deluged with information on managing the business impact and we have endeavoured to consolidate this in one place for you.  You can download the 'Guidance for business: with an employee who tests positive for COVID-19', or for further information visit the Chamber website.

As always, the Chamber team is here to help. If you have any questions please contact us on admin@queenstownchamber.org.nz or phone 03 441 8254.

Take care
