  • What do we need to do to comply?

  • What HR strategies will assist you through the change?

Payday Filing:

The obligations now imposed on employers imposes a multitude of challenges that must be complied with. In this Building Block, we will provide a practical and insightful overview of the recent IRD changes affecting how you comply with your PAYE filing and update you on employment law changes, including the update to the Employment Relations Act.

Payday filing is the latest in technological change to be implemented by the IRD as it continues its overhaul of the tax system to make it more relevant and hopefully simpler and more efficient for users.  However, while the goal is clear, there is a lot for businesses to know to ensure they get it right, while also allowing them to focus on what they do best.

Employment Relations Update:

Significant employment law changes come into force this year, including changes to rest and meal breaks and the 90-day trial period, and the introduction of paid domestic violence leave. So, what are the practical implications of these changes? Organisations need to be aware of these changes and consider how the will ensure they are staying on the right side of the law in how they define their relationships with their employees.
