Queenstown Chamber of Commerce AGM 2020
Members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Queenstown Chamber of Commerce to be held on Tuesday 10 November, 4pm at Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa.
Nominations are being called for 5 board members.
Craig Douglas, Angela Spackman, Sam Nelson, Hayley Stevenson and Anthony King will be re-standing by reason of rotation as prescribed in the constitution.
Board nominations open on Monday 5 October and must be received no later than 5pm, Friday 23 October. Download the nomination form here and email it to email@example.com.
The chamber is fortunate to be served by a capable and energetic board that represents a wide spectrum of the Queenstown business environment. The board is seeking to reach a broader section of the membership base for this year's election. This year we are working with Electionz, an independent election service to provide online voting to all members, not just those that attend the AGM. An email with a unique pin and password, and a link to the voting site will be sent to one contact per member business (allowing for one vote per member business only). The bios and photos of each candidate will be available on the voting page. As only the key contact per member business will receive this email, it is essential that you ensure we have the correct key contact for your business. The result of this vote will be announced and ratified at the AGM.
Voting opens on Wednesday 28 October and closes at 12 noon on Tuesday 10 November. It is essential that we have the correct details for your business, to ensure you get to vote.
Agenda for the AGM:
Minutes of AGM held on 26 November 2019
Deputy Chairpersons Report
Executive Report (given by Craig Douglas as interim GM)
Election Results Announced for 2020/21 Board of Directors
The AGM will be followed by drinks in the 1789 Wine & Jazz Lounge kindly sponsored by Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa.
